Secret Santas pay others' layaways at Springfield Kmart stores

Santa doesn't always sport a long white beard and shimmy down chimneys. Late Tuesday morning, he stopped by Kmart on South Campbell Avenue wearing street clothes and a trim white goatee.

When I was out to see the Christmas parade last weekend, I also toured the square to capture some of the sites. The future History Museum had a display of old pictures and then I captured some of the buildings there now.

"Rockin' Around the Square" Christmas Parade 2011

I attended our annual Christmas parade last Saturday and tried to capture it on film. The theme for the parade was "Rockin' Around the Square" which I thought was appropriate considering some of the floats entered.
